Recombinant Human BAFF induces mouse B cell proliferation. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 0.1-1 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of 1×10⁶-1×10⁷units/mg.

Recombinant Human TNFSF13B/BAFF/CD257 Protein is produced by E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence ( Ala134-Leu285) of human TNFSF13B (Accession #NP_006564.1).

储存

Store at -20℃.Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt.
After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.未开盖的干粉蛋白在 -20°C至-80°C可保存12个月；

复溶

Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. The protein is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for receptors TNFRSF13B/TACI, TNFRSF17/BCMA, and TNFRSF13C/BAFFR. This cytokine is expressed in B cell lineage cells, and acts as a potent B cell activator. It has been also shown to play an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of B cells.
