At concentrations ranging from 0.01 to 5 ng/mL, M5 factor (RP03505 IL1A,RP00212 IL17A,RP01616 IL22,RP00993 TNFα,RP00054 OSM)promotes the proliferation of HaCaT cells.

Recombinant Human Oncostatin-M/OSM Protein was determined by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions with Coomassie Blue.

Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 Human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.76-3.04 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of 3.9×105~1.31×106 units/mg.

Mammalian cells such as human, rat and mouse cells are normally diploid with two alleles.
Homozygote: both alleles were knocked out, mRNA has no signal, no expression of proteins.
Heterozygote: only one allele was knocked out, the mRNA transcript levels was decreased compared to wild type, and the protein expression levels was also lower than that of the wild type.

Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.

Description
The induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) were incorporated into the prepared culture medium in accordance with the established induction protocols at various stages of culture. The medium contained Activin A (100 ng/mL, Cat. RP02516), bFGF (10 ng/mL, Cat. RP01042), HGF (20 ng/mL, Cat. RP01602), and Oncostatin M (10 ng/mL, Cat. RP00054), all sourced from ABclonal, to facilitate the successful growth of liver organoids.

背景信息

This protein is a member of the leukemia inhibitory factor/oncostatin-M (LIF/OSM) family. The preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protein. This protein is a secreted cytokine and growth regulator that inhibits the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines. This protein also regulates the production of other cytokines, including interleukin 6, granulocyte-colony stimulating factor and granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor in endothelial cells.
