Recombinant Human Mucin-17/MUC17 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Arg4131-Leu4390) of human Mucin-17/MUC17 (Accession #Q685J3) fused with a hFc tag at the C-terminus.

储存

Store at -20℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt.
After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.未开盖的干粉蛋白在 -20°C至-80°C可保存12个月；

复溶

Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. Mucins execute wide range of physiological functions like protection and lubrication of epithelial surfaces, maintaining epithelial integrity, aiding in cell adhesion and confer protection against pathogens, toxins and foreign particles. MUC-17 protein maintains mucosal homeostasis, contributing to environmental stability. Interacting via its C-terminus, MUC-17 crucially associates with PDZK1, ensuring proper cellular localization.
