Recombinant Human MAPKAPK5/PRAK Protein is produced by Baculovirus-Insect Cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ser2-Gln473) of Human MAPKAPK5 (Accession #Q8IW41) fused with a N-GST tag.

储存

Store at -70°C. This product is stable at ≤ -70°C for up to 1 year from the date of receipt. For optimal storage, aliquot into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature.
Aliquots below 10 μL are not advisable. Product must not be stored in diluted solutions. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.未开盖的干粉蛋白在 -20°C至-80°C可保存12个月；

MAP kinase-activated protein kinase 5 (MAPKAPK5) is a member of the serine/threonine kinase family. In response to cellular stress and proinflammatory cytokines, MAPKAPK5 is activated through its phosphorylation by MAP kinases, including MAPK1/ERK, MAPK14/p38-alpha, and MAPK11/p38-beta. In vitro, MAPKAPK5 phosphorylates heat shock protein HSP27 at its physiologically relevant sites.
