Recombinant Human Ataxin-3/ATXN3 Protein is produced by E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Glu2-Lys361) of Human Ataxin-3/ATXN3 (Accession #NP_004984.2) fused with His tag at the N-Terminus.
储存
Store at -70°C. This product is stable at ≤ -70°C for up to 1 year from the date of receipt. For optimal storage, aliquot into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

生物活性
TXN3 activity was validated using Ub-Rho110 as a substrate to assess its deubiquitinating function. The reaction rate showed a strong linear positive correlation with enzyme concentration (0–500 nM) over a 60-min reaction period.

Machado-Joseph disease, also known as spinocerebellar ataxia-3, is an autosomal dominant neurologic disorder. The protein encoded by this gene contains (CAG)n repeats in the coding region, and the expansion of these repeats from the normal 12-44 to 52-86 is one cause of Machado-Joseph disease. There is a negative correlation between the age of onset and CAG repeat numbers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
